Badminton at XIX Commonwealth Games 2010

Badminton sport event was included in 1966 Commonwealth Games at Kingston. Till now it has been regularly included in the list and remained a Core sports according to CWG Federation. Badminton event will be played at Siri Fort Sports Complex in Six courts and at Saket Sports Complex in 3 courts respectively.

Badminton Sport Event will be played in six different categories i.e. Mens Singles, Mens Doubles, Womens Singles, Womens Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Finally Team event(1 * Men's Singles - 1 * Women's Singles - 1 * Men's Doubles - 1 * Women's Doubles - 1 * Mixed Doubles).

Total 18 medals are reserved for Badminton Event including 6 Gold, 6 Silver and 6 Bronze respectively.

Maximum entry per CGA: 5 mens and 5 womens
